WalkBop
Terms of Use
Effective October 30, 2026
These terms explain the basic rules for using WalkBop. The app is licensed through Apple’s App Store and is intended for friendly, recreational walking races.
App Store license
Your license to use WalkBop is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These WalkBop terms describe the service and acceptable use; they do not replace rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
Your account
You are responsible for access to your Apple account and for activity through your WalkBop account. Provide accurate profile information, keep your handle appropriate, and do not impersonate another person. WalkBop may restrict or remove accounts used for abuse, fraud, interference with the service, or violations of these terms.
Friendly and fair use
Do not harass, threaten, deceive, spam, or deliberately disrupt other walkers. Do not manipulate step data, invitations, items, race results, accounts, devices, or the service to gain an unfair advantage. Do not reverse engineer or access WalkBop in ways prohibited by the Standard EULA or applicable law.
Walking and Health information
WalkBop is a recreational fitness game, not a medical device or medical advice. Choose activity appropriate for your circumstances, pay attention to your surroundings, and consult a qualified professional when you need health guidance. Step totals depend on Apple Health, devices, permissions, syncing, and service availability and may be delayed or incomplete.
Friends, races, and items
Race positions, item effects, rewards, and related features are part of a game and have no cash value. Features may be balanced, corrected, reset, limited, or discontinued to keep WalkBop working fairly and reliably. Do not share invitation links where they are unwanted.
Availability and changes
WalkBop may change as features improve. The service may sometimes be unavailable because of maintenance, device limitations, network problems, Apple services, or third-party infrastructure. Reasonable efforts are made to keep it available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
Privacy and deletion
The Privacy Policy explains how WalkBop handles information. You can permanently delete your account inside the app at You → Data & privacy → Delete WalkBop account.
Ending use
You may stop using WalkBop and delete your account at any time. Rights under the Standard EULA may end if you fail to comply with it. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when WalkBop, applicable rules, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will be communicated where required.
