The service

These terms govern the TipHaven iOS app and its pages on this portfolio website. TipHaven is provided by Kenneth Marcel S De Geest, an autónomo established in Spain. Contact degeestkenneth@gmail.com.

TipHaven is a personal shift, tip, and earnings record. You are responsible for what you enter and for any backups you need. TipHaven is not an employer record, payroll system, tax service, accounting service, or source of legal or financial advice. Verify important figures against official records and professional advice.

Eligibility and acceptable use

Use TipHaven only in compliance with applicable law and Apple’s rules. Do not misuse the app or website, interfere with their operation, bypass purchase or security controls, reverse engineer them where prohibited, or use them to transmit unlawful, harmful, or abusive material.

Local data and backups

Shift records are stored on your device. Device loss, damage, deletion, software failure, or an unsuccessful backup may cause data loss. Restore Purchase checks an eligible purchase entitlement; it does not restore shift records. You are responsible for safely storing exports and backup files.

Five free shift entries

All app features are available from the start. You may create five shift entries for free across all jobs. When those five entries have been used, the app asks you to purchase lifetime access before creating another shift. Deleting a shift, deleting local data, reinstalling, restoring a backup, or changing jobs does not create a new free allowance.

Lifetime access and earlier subscriptions

Lifetime access is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. The price and any applicable taxes shown by Apple when you confirm the purchase apply. Apple charges your Apple account and handles payment, purchase restoration, and refund requests under its policies and applicable law.

The purchase unlocks additional shift creation in supported versions of TipHaven for as long as the app remains available and compatible, using the Apple account associated with the purchase and subject to Apple’s restoration rules. It does not promise that every current feature, operating-system version, or device will remain available indefinitely.

Earlier subscription products are no longer the current offer. If a valid legacy subscription entitlement exists, TipHaven may continue to recognize it until it expires or is revoked. Existing subscription management remains available through the user’s Apple account.

Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies to the iOS app.

Intellectual property

TipHaven, its design, text, software, and branding are owned by the provider or used with permission and protected by applicable law. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service. Ownership is not transferred.

Availability and changes

TipHaven may be maintained, improved, changed, suspended, or discontinued. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may depend on your device, iOS version, region, Apple services, RevenueCat, Firebase, and internet access.

Responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, TipHaven is provided without additional warranties and the provider is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, lost earnings, lost local records, or decisions made from user-entered data. Mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.

Ending use and governing terms

You may stop using TipHaven at any time. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity, security risks, purchase fraud, or serious breaches of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain without removing mandatory consumer protections or any right to bring a claim elsewhere when applicable law provides it. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
