Headache Tracker: MigraLoom
Terms of Use
Updated 11 October 2026
Clear terms for a personal migraine journal and its one-time purchase.
The service
MigraLoom is provided by Kenneth Marcel S De Geest, a self-employed developer (autónomo) based in Spain. These terms cover the MigraLoom app; the portfolio website has its own terms. Contact degeestkenneth@gmail.com.
Not medical care
MigraLoom is a personal journal and appointment-preparation tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, monitoring, treatment, dosing instructions or emergency services. Patterns describe what you recorded and cannot establish causes, predict attacks or prove treatment effectiveness. Missing entries are not symptom-free days. Seek a qualified health professional’s advice about symptoms and treatment; contact local emergency services in an emergency.
Free use and the one-time purchase
The current app lets you save the first five episodes before requiring a one-time App Store purchase to keep adding episodes. Saved history, Patterns, Reports and basic export remain accessible whether or not you buy. The purchase is not an auto-renewing subscription. Its localized price is shown in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation before you pay.
The non-consumable unlock can be restored using Restore purchases with the same Apple Account. A refund or revocation can remove paid access without deleting your saved journal. Future price changes do not create a recurring charge for existing purchasers. A lifetime unlock refers to the purchased app entitlement; it is not a promise of perpetual service availability, support for every future device, or every possible future separate product.
If you already hold an earlier subscription, its Apple purchase terms continue to apply. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscriptions; deleting the app does not cancel it. The current one-time offer does not automatically cancel an earlier subscription.
Apple purchases and licence
Apple processes App Store purchases. For billing or refund requests, use Apple’s refund service. Refund eligibility follows applicable law and Apple’s process; your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
The app licence is governed by the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement. These service terms supplement that agreement and do not replace mandatory Apple licence provisions. Apple is not responsible for MigraLoom support; contact the developer.
Your records and responsible use
You retain rights to the content you enter. You are responsible for its accuracy, your device security, and the destinations you choose for exports. Keep independent copies of records you need. The app has no MigraLoom account or cloud journal sync; Apple device backups may include app data according to your settings. Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, infringe others’ rights or attempt unauthorized access.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains local storage, backups, exports, optional diagnostics, purchases and your choices. Optional diagnostics are not a condition of using the journal or buying the unlock.
Availability and changes
We take reasonable care in developing MigraLoom but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change as the app develops or platform requirements change. Changes and discontinuation remain subject to applicable consumer rights and any remedies required by law. We may restrict misuse where reasonably necessary to protect security or address serious breaches.
Ownership and liability
The app’s software, design and original materials are protected by intellectual-property law. Your licence does not transfer ownership of those materials.
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing excludes or limits mandatory consumer guarantees or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Governing law and updates
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain without removing mandatory protections under the law of your country of residence. Disputes may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. Revised terms will be posted here with an updated date; material changes will be notified where required.
